Removing Stock Feed neck on XE

I want to upgrade my Ion Xe with a new clamping feedneck

How would I go about removing the stock feedneck? Does the feedneck screw off? Do I have to completely open up my gun? Whats the deal Help por favor!!

It just unscrews, it is just loctited. Make sure you get the NXT threaded feedneck when replacing. As for tanks Los has been running one (ninja) for a little while, likes it.

When you say it just unscrews you mean I can physically turn it with my hand to remove it? Just to be clear...
